Inbound - Venture Management - container maintenance
 
 

Creating & Maintaining Containers:


Container Maintenance 		 
From within the Logistics section of the application:  
       
Select   < Container Maintenance  
    This will take you to the main Container Maintenance section (see image right):  
         
         
       
         
Container  scan

 

Enter < an already created Container #
OR
Select < Scan to view a list of already created Containers, then
Select < Container #

   

 
Select from the options listed below - Create Container, Container Information etc.
           
  Create Container  

- a Container is created and associated with a PO Line Item/Venture.
  Container Information   - additional information is added to the created Container.
- a Container Delivery Order and Container Instruction Sheet may also be created from within the Links tab.
  Container Delivery Order   - a Container Delivery Order for the transportation of goods from the Port of Arrival to the Warehouse/Customer Pickup/Warehouse Transfer is created.
  View Container Instruction Sheet   - view a previously created Container Instruction Sheet. (These are created from within Container Information section within the Links tab.)
  Container View   - the information previously entered in Container Information may be viewed but not edited
  Break Down Container   - a Container may be broken down into its separate component Ventures in order to enable different tranportation logistics from Port of Arrival.
