Inbound - Venture Management - container transactions - create in transit

Container Transactions :		Create in Transit
From within the Logistics section of the application:

Select	< Container Transactions

Enter	Container Number

Select	< Create in Transit

	This will take you to the Create in Transit section (see image right):

	OR

	To view a list of available Containers that have been Created, are still At Source and have not yet been put In Transit

Select	< Create in Transit

Select	< Select - corresponding to the Container you want to put in Transit.

	This will take you to the Create in Transit section (see image right):

	Here the following information is added to the previously entered Container Information:

	Date In Transit	- the date that you want to show the Container as being put in Transit.
	!	Once a Container is Put in Transit, the PO Line Items/Ventures are reflected in your Inventory. Once a Container is Put in Transit, the PO Line Items/Ventures are reflected in your Inventory FROM A FINANCIAL PERSPECTIVE (AND WILL SHOW UP ACCUMULATING IN YOUR VENTURE ANALYSIS HOWEVER PACKAGING INFORMATION *MAY BE REQUIRED TO BE ENTERED DEPENDING ON TRACKING LEVEL BEFORE IT SHOWS IN INVENTORY - LOT LEVEL PACKING LIST ETC.)

	Document Status	- may be entered &/ updated.

	As Of	- the date you are creating the Container in Transit record - usually today's date.

	On completion be sure to:

Select	<< Proceed
