Manage the entry of Certificate of Analysis data. This data can be compared to the original Purchase Specifications indicating whether product "Meets Spec" or not. This data can also be used to later compare against a Customer's Sale Specifications and indicate whether the Venture meets that Customer's Specifications as well. Venture Transactions |
|
Put the Venture that is not part of a container in Transit, remove that Venture from In Transit and put it back to "At Source," receive a Venture that is not part of a Container or Undo the Receipt of a Venture.
Delete A Venture - Only At Source Ventures without packing lists can be deleted.
Warehouse Transfers - Start a transfer, create a Delivery Order for that Transfer, Receive a Transfer, Undo Receipt (Put the Transfer back 'In Transit') or Undo (Remove) all Transfers for a given Venture. |

|
Create a Container and associate Venture(s) with it.
Enter shipping logistics information, track documentation status, upload documents and files to the server and associate them with the Container.
Create system-generated documents:Container Delivery Order, Container Traffic Instruction Sheet. |

Venture Explorer |
|
A Query tool that can be customized to display different details about a Venture in different ways. The user selects initial filtering options through a "Basic" or "Advanced" filter tool then clicks Proceed. A "Venture Explorer Scan" is loaded displaying the results of the query with a list of sortable columns which can also be exported to MS Excel. Additional filtering can be done after the initial filter is run.

It can be accessed from the Main Menu (Venture Management: Venture Analysis or Reports: Venture Analysis). |

Inventory Allocation (a more generalized matching process, similar to most other systems) is also available through VIS. |

Release Explorer |

The Release Explorer in VIS can be accessed from Shipment Management in The VIS Main Menu or from the VIS Navigation Bar. Release Explorer is used to identify a given Shipment (or Release) or group of Shipments to a Customer, based on one or many criteria for filtering. |
